SCHOOL BASED CLINICIAN

DISTRICT – Southwest Vermont Supervisory Union
BUILDING – Mt. Anthony Union High School


QUALIFICATIONS –

  • Master’s degree held in school, community or rehab counseling or a Master’s degree in Social Work.
  • At least four years’ experience with youth.
  • Clinical license (LCSW, LMHC)


Duties (include but are not limited to):
  • Individual, group and family counseling.
  • Provide case management services for students within the school and community.
  • Crisis intervention.
  • Attend 504/IEP/Guidance/SGT/EST/SAP meetings.
  • Maintain student record keeping system.
  • Assist in Prevention Programming.
  • Classroom presentation.
  • Serve as consultant and provide support to counselors on mental health issues.
  • Staff training.
  • Act as a consultant to the school staff as a whole.
  • Act as referral agent to community agencies.
  • Member of school crisis team and school safety committee.
  • Attend faculty and department meetings.
  • Parenting education groups: parents of our students and/or students who are parents.
  • Adhere to all District policies and regulations.
